For the past 24 hours Giovanna Plowman has risen to internet stardom -- but for all the wrong reasons. That's how long it's taken for pretty much the entire world to see the viral video of the young lady sucking the menses from her own tampon. Now, as of January 20, 2013, this young girl is now the victim of relentless online bullying and stalking -- not to mention various hoax rumors of her committing suicide. This is indeed a shockingly comical story, but the bullying aspect sheds a light on how quickly someone's life can be ruined by simply being on the internet. A girl's thirst for attention online has now made her the target of what could become a crime.
This is a newly developing viral story that has yet to make it to media headlines -- but it certainly will in due time now that it has been broken on Examiner.Com in this post. Hopefully those who see all of the elements of what's occurred over the past 24 hours will be prepared to talk to their loved ones about bullying and the online culture that does in fact bleed into real life.
