Giorgio Armani, who is known for neutral and black collections, showed a brightly colored line for fall/winter 2012/2013 during Milan Fashion Week today. The iconic designer created black ensembles with brightly colored blouses, skirts, handbags and accessories which signal to the fashion world that the bright color trend is not over yet.
Giorgio Armani paired 1980’s inspired menswear suiting with bright pops of solid colors, bright floral patterns and colorful textures which brightened up the Milan catwalk where many designers have been showing dark and dismal colors for fall 2012. To blend with the pops of color, Giorgio Armani designed small and medium sized handbags in bright colors such as fuchsia, yellow and orange.
The handbag collection Giorgio Armani designed for fall 2012 was made from both smooth leather and exotic skins. Armani created daytime clutches in small and medium sizes as well as small, single top handle satchels for fall.
The daytime clutches were shown in solid colors, color blocking, neutrals and bright hues. Giorgio Armani’s daytime clutch collection for fall 2012 offered dressy and casual styles which are easy to pair with colors, patterns and neutrals. The colorful daytime clutches on Giorgio Armani’s runway were a nod to the continuing daytime clutch trend which has been important since 2010.
Giorgio Armani also showed small black satchels on his fall 2012 Milan Fashion Week runway which were sophisticated and easy to wear during the day or in the evening. The satchels were dressy enough to be worn with semi-formal attire at an evening occasion yet sassy enough to be worn with sophisticated daytime attire.
The overall collection Giorgio Armani designed for fall 2012 was easy to wear, lighthearted and offered colorful alternatives to the dark and black color palette many designers have presented for fall during Milan Fashion Week.
