If you can easily eat more than $20 worth of sushi then maybe you should think about giving this AYCE (all you can eat) sushi joint a try. Ginzaya is located in the VONS shopping plaza on Woodruff and Bellflower and has plenty of parking available.
The ambience inside has a sports bar feel with a giant wall playing games from a projector ans TVs throughout the restaurant.
The AYCE price for lunch is $17.99 and if you go after 2pm the price is $21.99. The $21.99 price also applies on holidays. They have an extensive AYCE menu so you have many items to choose from- appetizers, sushi, sashimi, and even teriyaki dishes.
Make sure you tell your server or sushi chef that you want the 4 piece rolls as opposed to the 8 piece rolls… so you can make room in your belly for a variety of rolls! This is where I went wrong. I found out after I dined there that I could have order 4 pieces instead of 8. The next time around- I’ll know what to do.
If you don’t think you can eat $20 worth of sushi, you can still order off the regular menu.
I’d like to add- my sister, Rita and I definitely got our money’s worth. We easily ate at least $100 worth of food at Ginzaya for the cost of $21.99 per person. And I don’t feel like the quality lacked due to it being AYCE. It’s a spot I would definitely go back to when I feel the need to stuff my face.
