Spread the love as Gino’s East celebrates the true meaning of it this Valentine’s Day with “The Giving Heart.” For every deep-dish, heart-shaped cheese pizza purchased from Wednesday, February 8 through the end of the month, a portion of proceeds will go to Children’s Memorial Hospital.
The family-friendly Gino’s East is famous for hosting guests who etch and graffiti all over the walls to leave their lasting impressions.
This year, the family owners behind Gino’s East have etched out a heart of their own for Children’s Memorial Hospital via an ongoing partnership including most recently serving as food sponsors at the 15th Annual Step Up for Kids event. Upcoming benefit events that Gino’s East is participating in include the Chicago Dance Marathon on March 3 and Move for the Kids in May.
Children's Memorial is building a world-class children's hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, opening on June 9, 2012. The 23-story, state-of-the-art hospital is located in downtown Chicago on the campus of academic partner, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and will offer the latest benefits and innovations in medical technology, research and family-friendly design. The hospital seeks the support of the entire community to complete Lurie Children’s and help make Chicago the healthiest place in the nation for kids.
