This year’s theme “Spirit of Giving” exudes from this creative cacophony of colors and sweets at Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel’s gingerbread display. Paying tribute to the resorts Community Footprint Partners, the delightful display is all in the details- from Spongebob Squarepants’ jellybean encrusted under-the-sea pineapple to Finding Nemo’s Bruce the Shark, the presentation is a feast for the eyes.
Paying tribute to Surfers Healing, Friends of Orange County’s Homeless Pets, Canine Companions for Independence, Socks for Heroes, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Orange County Rescue Mission, Olive Crest, Operation Helping Hands, and Second Harvest Food Bank, Ritz-Carlton’s Executive Pastry Chef Brian Sundeen lead a team of artisans in an effort over 1,600 hours in the making. Made of gingerbread, popcorn, pretzels, cookies, crackers, cereal, chocolate and candy, both kids and adults are marveling at this entirely edible creation.
On display until December 31st, 2013, the “Spirit of Giving” gingerbread spectacle is not to be missed. Visit www.ritzcarlton.com/LagunaNiguel for more information about the property.
