Gina Carano has turned into an actress, but she has not given up on MMA completely. Carano has now spoken up about a potential return to the MMA ring. On March 26, News Max shared new comments made by Carano about the MMA and her career. She is definitely open to a return. In fact, she has never officially retired.

Her return to the MMA has been at the center of speculation in recent weeks after a report surfaced that Carano would return to the ring to fight Ronda Rousey. Ronda is the top MMA fighter right now. Carano even spoke about fighting Rousey as well, and it is possible. Dana White has tried to make it clear that negotiations for a fight between the pair are not happening, but Carano's comments suggest otherwise:

I feel like I can’t say too much. I’ve got all this information that if I could just speak freely, this is actually what’s going on. I wish I could open up my mind and tell you exactly the things that I’ve seen and the conversations that I’ve had, but I think to sum it up in a nice, safe way for me is if circumstances were right, and if it’s a good enough circumstance (I would come back) because my first love is MMA.

Women's fighting has received a new spotlight with fighters like Rousey bringing new fans to the sport. Cris Cyborg has only added fuel to the fire with her saying that Rousey thinks Carano would be an easy fight for her. Rousey is open to fighting either woman in the ring.
