Gifts from the Christmas kitchen book review

Gifts from the Christmas Kitchen

This 383-page book is filled with recipes on every page! Most pages have two or even three recipes per page! If you do the math, that is a lot of recipes!

The book is divided into six sections and then has a full index in the back. The sections include: Gift Giving Tips, Sensational Seasonal Snacks, Glorious Gifts in a Jar, Yuletide Breads and Muffins, Cookie Tin Express and Visions of Sugar Plums.

Some of my favorite recipes include: Cranberry Apple Relish, Pina Colada Bread, Snickerdoodles, Choco-Caramel Delights, Double Chocolate Fantasy Bars, Rainbow Blondies, Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Bonbons, Peanut Butter Confections and Honey Spice Balls. However, each time I look through this book, I find a new favorite recipe!

This is a book that you will refer to all through the year for new sweet ideas. If purchased new, the book also comes with two pages of, “From the Kitchen of” stickers to add to your baked good when you give them away as gifts.

Aside from all of the wonderful recipes, this book contains so many full color photos of the food. I don’t know about you, but if I can see it, I am more likely to try and make it. A picture speaks a thousand words, such as try me, I look decadent!

Each recipe contains a, “Famous Brand Name” ingredient. So, there are no strange ingredients here!

This book is a keeper to my collection and I hope you make it one of your as well.
