Giving Gifts in a Pan
Many of us have heard of gifts in a jar, right? You know, when you take a mason jar and fill it with dry ingredients needed to make cookies, brownies or soup. How about gifts in a pan? Let me explain:
Planning to give Lou Lou muffins for Christmas? You know the blueberry muffins you make that she enjoys so much? By all means make her the muffins, but give her the muffins and the pan you baked them in! Before you make the muffins in your baking pan, go and buy a new one. Wash it out and use it to make Lou Lou’s muffins. Attach the recipe for her too! This way she can make them whenever she wants to.
How about candy? Buy a sheet of candy molds and make your famous chocolate candies. Give the molds filled with candies to a friend for Christmas. Wrap it with a ribbon and give it away.
You can do this with bar cookies as well. Prepare then in a 8x8 or 9x13 glass dish and give away the dish with the cookie bars.
The possibilities are endless.
