Gift ideas for dad: What to get dad for Father's day

It's that time again.

For moms across the country, the weekend of June 20 can be one of the most stressful holidays of the year. Most moms, tired of  wasting money on gifts dad will never use, dread the exhausting search for the "perfect" gift.  The secret to a happy Father's day lies in both logic and strategy.

Consider these three logical approaches:

Option 1: A Gift He’ll Love
According to Ask Men.Com, top gifts are tickets to sporting events (like the Chiefs or Royals) or well…a bottle of good wine. If you want to know what men want…ask a man, right?

Option 2: Something He
Needs
This could get a bit boring, but if you're trying to find him something he'll use start here: give dad a practical to “gift”  like: socks, underwear, a good robe, t-shirts, razors and the like. Not much flair; but he'll get lots of usage.

Option 3: Something He Wishes He Had

A Kindle, a new set of golf clubs, an afternoon of peace and quiet....whatever it is...give him what he wishes he had. Don't make the day about "the loot" you spend. Instead, treat dad to something that will thrill him with joy!

Some other "wish list" ideas include: an Ipod, and IPad, an ESPN iScore Baseball Scorekeeper from Itunes. (Image below)

Got a golfing dad?

What's a Gizmachi?  Amazon.Com describes it as a "Golf accessory that keeps your spare club in sight and eliminates wet or dirty grips". There's a dad out there [somewhere] that would be elated to receive the Gismachi!

Remember, the best Father's Day gifts fall into the following categories: what he WANTS, NEEDS AND WISHES he had.  More ideas?
