It is rare to capture video of a smalleye stingray anywhere in the world, but the BBBC recently taped footage. Because the footage is so rare, this video has created an internet buzz because people want to see it.
The National Geographic video below from earlier this year shows what is believed to be the largest (550-990 pounds) stingray every captured, but they were unable to weigh it, so they cannot be certain. It was a giant pregnant stingray that measured 2.1 meters long. Scroll down for that video.
