All eyes were focused on a horse farm in Vineland, New Jersey last week as it was being investigated by authorities as one of several locations that could possibly be part of "the biggest drug bust in Cape May County history" according to an article posted on NBC40.net. As reported Thursday, K&C Stables in Cumberland County was raided during a massive heroin bust "that has already resulted in the seizure of $3.75 million worth of heroin and a dozen arrests" according to the NBC40 report. The online publication stated that the authorities investigating said K&C was "one of several [properties] in Cumberland and Cape May counties that had already been searched" and that the investigation is ongoing as are the searches.
While authorities refrained from comment about exactly what they were searching for, residents in the area seemed to be in disbelief and mesmerized by the drama according to the online NBC40 report, "Armed with binoculars, neighbors gathered to watch investigators as they combed the property and used heavy machinery to dig behind the stables while a helicopter circled overhead."
