Giada De Laurentiis traded the kitchen for the catwalk on Thursday, Feb. 6 at New York Fashion Week. She modeled the couture dresses for the Heart Truth Dress Collection show. Us Weekly reported the sighting of the sexy chef on Feb. 7.

The 43-year-old wore a bright red plunging short-sleeve floor-length gown by Carolina Herrera. The gown also featured a long slit.

The Italian chef wore her brunette locks parted in the middle and tumbled around her face. She flashed her big smile as she made her way down the runway.

It's not surprising that she looked stunning in the gown. Plus, it showed off her famous curves. Men will surely enjoy the photos from this runway show.

De Laurentiis also spoke about her experience at the fashion show. She said, "It's such an important message for women to hear. It's something we all need to pay attention to and raise awareness for."

She told E! Online that even though she was excited, she was a bit nervous about walking down the runway. She even practiced before the big day.

De Laurentiis said, “I’m super excited; I’ve never done this before. I used to think being a model and walking the runway was an easy job, but I have changed my mind. I have so much respect for those women because it’s a tough job!”

Giada De Laurentiis has quite the family background. She's the oldest daughter of Veronica De Laurentiis and actor Alex De Benedetti.
