When Gia Allemand committed suicide, Donna Micheletti put all the blame on Gia's father. He is the one responsible for her death. Donna granted Dr. Phil an exclusive interview in an empty studio. While they talked, Donna tearfully told Dr. Phil some of the ugly, degrading things that Gia's father had said.
“He told her she (Gia) was 'the idiot, she was 'too stupid,' that 'you're no daughter of mine,' and 'don't call me for Father's Day. Lose my number.' That was the beginning of her end."
According to the Dr. Phil interview on Reality TV World, Donna said, "I told him I blamed him. I told him, 'It's your fault. You're the reason.'"
However, the damage was done by the father'a degrading words. It left Gia feeling abandoned by her father, and betrayed be men in general.
Gia’s father gave this apology in an interview, 'I wish I could take it back, it's too late. If she were still here, I would tell her I'm sorry, I love her, and she will always be my rainbow.'"
It's too bad that he didn't say that to his daughter. Perhaps she would have felt more secure in her life and would still be here today.
