The Gia Allemand funeral date has been set and made public by her family. On Aug. 18, Us Weekly reported that Allemand's family plans to hold a public visitation as well as a funeral service for the late "Bachelor" and "Bachelor Pad" star. As previously reported, Allemand passed away last week after hanging herself in an apparent suicide attempt.
The public visitation will take place on Wednesday Aug. 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Papavero Funeral Home in Maspeth, NY. The following day a funeral mass will take place at the Trinity Grace Church of Chelsea in New York City at 11 a.m. according the funeral home's website.
Gia Allemand's funeral will likely be attended by several of her friends from "The Bachelor," "The Bachelorette," and "Bachelor Pad." So many people loved and cared for her and many will want to go and pay their respects and show their support to Gia's family.
A touching tribute video was created by Gia's mother, Donna, and posted on the website of the funeral home. This has been a very emotional, shocking time for many people and this wake and funeral service isn't going to be easy.
