This is Ghostface Killah's tenth album. It's title comes from a comic book of the same name. All instrumentals on this album come from Adrian Younge, although it was executive productive by RZA on his Soul Temple record label.
The album begins with Beware of the Stare, a track about not looking into the eyes or souls of a murderer. Rise of the Black Suits is a storytelling track. I declare war features Masta Killa and is a track about ghost being in a war with mobsters and gangstas. Blood on the Cobblestones is a nice uptempo track featuring Wu-tang members U-God and Inspectah Deck. The Center of Attraction has a slow start but then begins with Ghost talking about a woman who he thought was perfect but ends up having a dark background told by Cappadonna. Enemies all around me reminds me of a Quentin Tarantino movie, good track. An Unexpected call continues the albums theme on Ghostface's saga against the Deluca's - mobsters in Ghosts local area, this one is about being set-up by a girl who seduced him. The Rise of the Ghostface Killah is a track about Tony Starks dying and being resurrected as Ghost Face Killah. Revenge is Sweet starts off with high pitched chorus and alto male singing voice, Ghost talks about getting revenge even after death. Murder Spree is another Wu-Tang track with U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck and Killa Sin, on this one each rappers goes in talking about how they brutally dispose of enemies. 12 Reasons to Die instrumental ends this in movie style fashion.
Overall I give this 4 out of 5 stars. The production is not as commercial as many of Ghosts albums and he uses a lot of storytelling from the frist song to the last.
