This week’s episode of “Ghost Mine”, which aired on October 23, found Kristen Lumen and Patrick Doyle investigating the site where 18 Chinese miners were locked into a cabin and burned to death in the early 1900s. The paranormal team attempted to contact the spirits of the deceased miners in hopes of uncovering a connection with the paranormal activity in the Crescent Mine.
Although they did not turn up anything significant with the investigation, they did experience some EMF spikes and heard some noises. The highlight, of course, was a touching scene involving Kristen.
Lumen felt a distinct touch on her back while investigating. Although she could not rule out that the touch resulted from a falling pinecone or debris from the overhead trees, she suspected it was the touch of one of the Chinese miners trying to contact the living.
A few moments later, Kristen felt another touch on her leg. She admitted that in an outdoor investigation it was difficult to rule out natural causes for the sensation, such as a tree branch or grass contacting her leg, but she did not see anything that could have touched her leg.
Kristen said she had never been touched like that in an investigation.
Whether the spirits of the deceased miners reached out to Kristen or some natural event caused the touching sensation on Kristen’s back and leg is unknown at this time.
Tune in to “Ghost Mine” Wednesday nights at 10/9c on SyFy to find out more about the eerie goings on at the old Crescent Mine.
