Scottsdale may not have haunting that make national news, but there is plenty of activity in the valley of the sun. With programs like Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International and the like, the passion for this topic seems to be growing. If you have ever wondered where these haunted places hide, now is the time to enjoy an evening Debe Branning, author and ghost chaser. Debe will be holding a class at the Vision Quest Bookstore on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The list of haunted places includes cemeteries, homes, hotels, bars, University Buildings as well as theaters. There are a reported ten haunted sites in Arizona that have notoriety. Among the haunted places are the Rosson house, the Hotel San Carlos, Hermosa Inn and the Orpheum Theater. Debe will explain how she and other ghost hunters in the valley go about proving the existence of ghosts. With all the equipment available today many great photos and videos are on line.
Debe Branning is the author of “Sleeping with Ghosts…” and will be discussing her book. She will have a book signing after the class. This special presentation is sponsored by Vision Quest Bookstore, located at 2225 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. The cost for this class is $25 if you reserve your seat before the class or $30.00 at the store.
This special event will be interesting and enjoyable. Debe is also a journalist with examiner.com.
