As technology improves so does the way we conduct paranormal investigations. Traditional items brought to an investigation include digital camera, EMF detector, thermometer, video camera and digital voice recorders. A new ghost hunting equipment has been added to the arsenal of paranormal detection devices. The smart phone has made its way into the lives and hearts of ghost hunters. No matter what you ghost hunting level is, amateur to expert, your smart phone can easily become your favorite ghost hunting tool.
There are many ghost hunting apps which can help you on your upcoming ghost hunting endeavors. These apps can be used to detect ghosts and capture evidence during an investigation.
Let’s take a look at some of the popular ghost hunting apps available for download.
iEMF
The iEMF app detects if there are magnetic field fluctuations in the area. This app uses the built in magnetometer on the iPhone and has been successfully used during investigations. Cost for the iEMF is $0.99 and there is a Free app available, with limited features.
Ghost Radar: CLASSIC
The Ghost Radar: CLASSIC app allows you to record when your smart phone detects higher levels of energy and email your findings to others. This is not one of my favorite apps, but it is still an effective one when conducting an investigation. Cost for this app is $0.99.
M2
The M2 app offers a variety of different ways to track down ghosts and other paranormal entities. This app features an electronic voice phenomenon instrument, EMF detector, spatial displacement tool and geoscope. Basically this app features almost everything you would need as a ghost hunter during an investigation. Cost for this app is $0.99. Personally this is one of my favorite of all three apps reviewed here.
Do not forget that you can also use your smart phone to take pictures and capture EVPs during an investigation.
