If you ever wander down to the Midvale Main Street Theatre, there might be something spooky sitting in the seat next to you.
The Paranormal Investigation Team of Utah is heading there this Friday, Oct. 16, to follow up on reports that the 100 year old building is haunted. The group plans an all-night investigation starting at 10 p.m., and though it’s not open to the public it may be possible to get a couple of questions answered if you’re there as they’re setting up. (As to whether or not they find anything, I’ll be following up and reporting back to you.)
Though the building has been known as the Midvale Main Street Theatre only for the last three years, the building spent the decades before that as another stage theater, a movie theater, and then the Comedy Circuit. Cast members and staff have reported hearing both noises and voices, and seeing strange movements including a chair rocking on its own.
