Ghost hunt with celebrities at area bed & breakfast

The Thomas House in nearby Red Boiling Springs is playing host to a celebrity ghost hunt in June, and you can join the action.

Steve Gonsalves and Amy Bruni, from the Syfy Channel’s hit shows “Ghost Hunters” and “Ghost Hunters Academy,” will be at the Thomas House on June 25, 2011 for a weekend of ghost hunting, lectures, classes and more.

According to event promoter Chad Morin this weekend gives ghost hunters and show fans the chance “to spend a weekend with the stars of hit television shows as well as participate in a live ghost hunt with them.”

In 1890, Red Boiling Springs offered mineral spas, as well as a lake, dance hall, bowling alley, shooting gallery, skating rink and swimming pool. In the midst of it all, Henry Cloyd built a hotel. Through the years the hotel has survived three fires, a murder, floods and more. The hotel has endured and is today known as the Thomas House.

Guests of this Thomas House event will get a meet and greet with the two celebrities, as well as the opportunity to take photos with them, get autographs, attend various lectures and classes, and share meals. The highlight of the weekend will be a ghost hunt with both Gonsalves and Bruni.

Will the Thomas House ghosts attend this weekend as well? You may just have to attend to find out.

The Thomas House is located at 520 East Main Street in Red Boiling Springs, a mere 70 miles from Nashville. For more information on this event visit www.GhostHuntWeekends.com or call (866) 559-4741.
