The new paranormal web series "Ghost Ghirls" premieres Monday, September 9, 2013 on Yahoo! Screen. Tune in every Monday night for new episodes. The scripted supernatural comedy will be featured on Yahoo! Screen with 12 new ten-minute episodes, the LA Times reported on Friday.
Comedian Jack Black is cashing in on the paranormal craze. The funnyman produces and appears in the supernatural web comedy "Ghost Ghirls" which will be featured exclusively online. The show stars Amanda Lund and Maria Blausucci.
Black teamed up with Shine America and internet powerhouse Yahoo! to produce the ghost hunting web series that follows two female paranormal investigators as they attempt to solve supernatural cases.
Lund and Blasucci star as paranormal investigators Heidi and Angelica. The pair will have a little help from Black and his friends. Special guest stars include Dave Grohl, Val Kilmer, Jake Johnson, Molly Shannon, and Jason Schwartzman. "Ghost Ghirls" is a spoof show that will that will poke fun at programs like "Medium" and "Ghost Whisperer."
