The "Ghost Adventures" season nine finale airs July 12 at 9 pm on the Travel Channel. "Ghost Adventures" host Zak Bagans announced that the popular paranormal series will be coming back for a tenth season on his website today.

The Travel Channel announced recently that it will renew "Ghost Adventures" for another season. The reality series premiered on October 17, 2008 and returns this fall for its tenth season with 13 new one hour episodes. The show will remain in its Saturday night time-slot.

"Ghost Adventures" began as an independent documentary film that first aired on the Syfy Channel on July 27, 2007. The show follows paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin as they explore alleged haunted locations.

The Travel Channel also unveiled a new "Ghost Adventures" spin off series on April 26. Zak Bagans also hosts the new "Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks" series. The new series ran for 13 episodes this spring, in which past guests from "Ghost Adventures" returned to tell their ghost stories. In the new series, Bagans invited some of the people that they have encountered from the original series to Las Vegas for an update on how their lives are now.

The Ghost Adventures crew has investigated over a hundred locations all over the world. In nine seasons of the show, Zak, Nick, and Aaron have helped to provide answers to people that have witnessed and experienced paranormal phenomena.

Season nine of the series wraps up in Newark, Ohio at the Old Licking County Jail.

The Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" series finale airs on Saturday, July 12, at 9 pm. Season ten of the series will air in the fall.

After the "Ghost Adventures" season finale, tune in to "The Dead Files" season premiere airing at 10 pm. Psychic-medium Amy Allan and retired twenty-one year veteran of the New York City Police Department Steve DiSchiavi kick off the sixth season in Florida.
