The Travel Channel announced this week that it will soon air a new "Ghost Adventures" spin off series. Zak Bagans will host the new "Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks" series, The Las Vegas Sun reported on Monday.
"Ghost Adventures" began as an independent documentary film that first aired on the Syfy Channel on July 27, 2007 and is currently on its ninth season on the Travel Channel. The series follows paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin as they explore alleged haunted locations. A tenth season is scheduled to air this fall.
"Past guests from 'Ghost Adventures' will sit in a warehouse studio set to tell us more chilling information about their spirit attachments and very personal terrifying ghost stories since I've last seen them," Bagans said in an interview with Robin Leach.
The second "Ghost Adventures" series called "Aftershocks" will premiere on Saturday, April 26. The show is scheduled for 13 episodes which past guests from "Ghost Adventures" return to tell their ghost stories. In this new series, Bagans invites some of the people that they have encountered from the original series to Las Vegas for an update on how their lives are now.
"So far, every episode we've filmed is nothing short of powerful, emotional moments, tears and WTF moments. It's gotta watch TV! The first episode deals with demonic attacks and will literally draw tears, then send chills down your spine with what is presented on the premiere," Bagans said about the new series.
The Ghost Adventures crew has investigated over a hundred locations all over the world. In nine seasons of the show, Zak, Nick, and Aaron have helped to provide answers to people that have witnessed and experienced paranormal phenomena.
