Vincent M. Ward is indeed the next big thing in Hollywood! His stellar acting career spans over 10 years with appearances in hit blockbuster films like Traffic, Oceans 11 and Bringing Down the House along with primetime TV favorites Everybody Hates Chris, The Game, Hot in Cleveland and True Blood.
He got his start performing in sold-out stage plays across the country before making his way to the big screen, but has not stopped working the live theatre circuit. In fact, he is slated to appear in two phenomenal stage plays early this year, which are already generating a lot of buzz. Both productions will take place at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. “Reap What You Sow” produced by Brandi Burks showing Saturday, February 25, 2012 and the Donald B. Welch production “My Brother’s Keeper”, March 30th-31st, 2012.
Many who follow Ward’s career will agree that he always has something cooking. His social network pages on Twitter and Facebook provide a snapshot into his everyday life--treating fans to comedic food for thought via his video blogs. He reveals a side that most actors are quick to shut off from the public. The Truth!
Ward is very excited about stepping into his latest role as a spoken word poet. Releasing a compilation of daring, electrifying and risqué stories in the album “Eargasms: Don’t Talk Just Listen”. The CD which is slated for a Valentine’s Day release is not his traditional work, but he felt it was time to push the envelope and warns his followers “This is only for the grown and sexy”. The first single "Ms.Smooth" is available on iTunes and CDBaby now for purchase. Choosing a venture like this certainly seemed to be out of character for Ward. But he admits that it was more about revealing another side of his artistry, proving that his ability to draw people in and take risks would be what makes him a stand-out performer.
No matter what you think about Vincent M. Ward, his undeniable charm and cool persona is hard to ignore. His charismatic swag and uncanny ability to transform, captivates audiences. Once he puts his acting chops to work you become entrenched in the life of the character he portrays. His get up and grind mentality has taken him far beyond his days of growing up in Dayton, Ohio and his passion for giving back to others has always been at the forefront of his career, even as he climbs the entertainment ladder all the way to the top.
He kicked off 2012 with a campaign to support Independent Actors, Producers and Writers through his new company V.M.W. Productions. His vision for the company is simple, “Teach others how to be great, by equipping them with the tools for success”. Ward has designed the company to boast products and services that are necessary for any projects foundation. By offering customized packages to clients, he is able to speak directly to their professional needs; whether it is script writing tips, post editing or production resources, he is confident that his expertise will make the difference in the creative process. “I really want to help people reach their dreams” offers Ward. “I think I have something unique to offer the world of entertainment. 2012 will be a big year for me and my team and I am hoping to establish V.M.W. Productions as a driving force in entertainment communities across the globe”.
