Ok, here we go again…will it be resolution or revolution that we declare on ourselves at the start of this New Year? We hear it everywhere, “New Year, New You”, “Get Mean and Lean in 2013” ~really? Yes it’s a new year alright, but let’s face it, you’re feeling more tired than “new”, the only thing lean about you is what you find yourself doing after you’ve eaten too much at the holiday parties and well, maybe you do feel a little mean about it. Heck! It’s frustrating to find yourself at this old familiar place [again]!
Don’t get sucked into feeling disappointed in yourself, it’s a waste of time. Insanity is doing the same thing expecting a different result, right? This year, let’s try something new. Over the next few weeks, we’ll take the time to make realistic goals, start a sensible eating plan and develop a practical approach to fitness that will have you feeling better than ever. It’s not too late to start or restart if necessary ~ that’s the beauty of life; each day is a new opportunity to do well.
Use this article as a guide to a simple four part plan that we’ll establish together. Think of me as a partner on your path to wellness, your own personal fitness coach. Are you ready? First tip before we begin - remember that consistency is key to your success. I am here to remind you that there’s only one you, how great you are and that you’re worth the effort. Together we’re a team that can’t lose, so let’s do this. Step 1 ~ Create a goal, that’s it, but REALLY think about it. Got it? Good. Write me at tefitness@ymail.com with your questions or comments and I’ll meet you back here next time.
