Some kids just don't like to brush their teeth, which can turn bedtime into high-stress time in many households. In January, the Missouri History Museum is offering a bit of help to weary parents and a bit of reassurance to wary kids.
On Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26, 2013, the Missouri History Museum will be presenting Terrific Teeth, a storytelling session that will introduce kids to some characters who have had a bit of trouble taking care of their teeth, but learned to overcome their obstacles.
Storytelling begins at 10:30 each morning, but the Saturday session also includes before and after playtime beginning at 10:00 and running through 12:30 p.m. If kids come early or stay late, they can make crafts, build puzzles, play with puppets or read books.
If you're having a tough time convincing your child to brush his or her teeth, come out to the free Terrific Teeth storytelling session at the Missouri History Museum and let some fun characters do the dirty work of getting clean teeth, for you.
