Get your science up this week at City Library

Get into science at the City Library at 210 East 400 South with Science Movie Night at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8. The movie this Tuesday is "The Shaman's Apprentice" and will be shown in the Main Library auditorium. It is sponsored by the Natural History Museum of Utah and the Utah Film Center.

Leap! into Science: Mystery of the Monster Bug Show is sponsored by KUED, the Natural History Museum of Utah, and the National Science Foundation. It will be showing on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Chapman Branch located at 577 South 900 West and Thursday, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Day-Riverside Branch located at 1575 West 1000 North.

Computer classes

There are numerous outstanding computer classes offered throughout the year at City Library. This month's offerings include classes on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Using Your Resume Electronically, Mouse Maneuvering, Business Databases, Keyboard and Typing Skills, Dropbox, Navigating the City Library's Website, Library Downloadables and much more.
