The TCM Classic Film Festival runs April 25-28 welcoming thousands of movie fans from around the globe to Hollywood to celebrate the art and history of cinema. The event includes more than a hundred screenings of classic movies, along with appearances by legendary stars, live interviews, extensive panel discussions, special exhibits and more. Travel in the Movies is the theme for this year’s festival and special guests include Polly Bergen, Mel Brooks, Illeana Douglas, Jane Fonda, Tippi Hedren, Carl Reiner, Mickey Rooney, Cybil Shepard, Jon Voight, and many more.

In addition to complimentary appraisals, Bonhams will also be hosting an early preview of highlights from its upcoming Entertainment Memorabilia auction in May, including rare collectibles associated with Festival programming. Highlights on display from Bonhams May 5 auction in Los Angeles include a signed photograph of Clara Bow, a Clara Bow “It” commemorative statue, and Milton Berle’s script for It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, which is just one of the many items from the legendary comedian’s estate to be offered in that auction..

Through these clinics, Bonhams’ experts have discovered many important items that have gone on to bring record prices at auction. Appraisal slots are limited and appointments are required. Those interested in having their memorabilia appraised can get more details at bonhams.com/tcm, by emailing appraisal.us@bonhams.com or by calling (415) 503-3287.
