Get your green on: Coral Gables Green Festival

Mark your calenders for  February 6th; the 3rd Annual Green Festival!

Now that you've cleared out the champagne, finally gotten rid of the last of the Christmas cookies, and packed away the ornaments and trimmings for another year, start focusing on keeping your resolutions.

What a better way to keep your resolution to live green in 2010 that to attend the festival... come pick up tips on how to adjust your home environment, your nutrition, cars and landscape to live more eco-friendly.

Once you've gotten your tips, fill your eco-friendly grocery bags with some delicious picks from the farmers market.

The festival will take place in conjunction with the Coral Gables Farmers Market in front of City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Green Festival is presented by The Coral Gables Museum, The Coral Gables Garden Club, Dade Heritage Trust, The Villagers and The City of Coral Gables; and is sponsored by The State of Florida Department of Cultural Affairs, Miami-Dade County Division of Cultural Affairs and the City of Coral Gables Sustainable Development Department.
