Get your fitness resolutions on track at the Fitness Party Expo

How are those New Year's fitness resolutions coming? Have you stalled or are you making progress? Maybe you need some resolution motivation or a place to start. Or maybe you just want some fresh ideas. Whatever the case, you might want to check out tonight's Fitness Party Expo.

Hosted by Fight Fit, Inc., a Chicago-area fitness firm that offers affordable services for those who can't afford personal trainers, the Fitness Party Expo 2013 runs from 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. on January 14. Held at the George West Improvement Association in Wood Dale (301 N. Prospect Ave.), the space will be transformed into a fitness Mecca. Sure you'll find a DJ video mixing and music blasting, but the real opportunity is with the trainers on hand. Attendees will be able to interact with Chicago-area trainers who will be demonstrating Zumba, Cardio Kickboxing, Piyo, Crossfit, Bootcamp and many other ways to get active.

Event organizers hope that attendees will discover a training regime to suit their needs and begin the process of getting fit. Attendees will have the chance to score giveaways and discounts from fitness suppliers like Dick Pond and GNC, and they can participate in raffles that award cash prizes while also helping the local community. Proceeds from the raffles will help teens and adults in the area who normally wouldn't be able to afford Fight Fit's services.
