As previously reported, this will be another season with both “Guys and Girls” in it, and probably the best thing is that Miss J is going to be back. He was surely missed, and this cycle is sure to have some great moments with him teaching those girls and guys how it’s done on the runway.

The premiere episode of Cycle 21 will air on Aug. 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

This Cycle will feature Tyra, of course and Kelly Cutrone as judges. Judge Rob Evans, social media expert Bryanboy and creative director Johnny Wujek will not be returning. Photographer Yu Tsai will take over as creative director, and Miss J. will also be a judge.

One model I’m interested in seeing is Chantelle Young, who has seen a lot of publicity lately. Chantelle has vitiligo, a skin disease, which causes patchy pigmentation of the skin. In Chantelle’s case, in my opinion, her face is very interesting. The lighter patches are fairly symmetrical, so if you didn’t know better, you might think that it was makeup styled that way. I hope she does well.

Another model that has seen some publicity is Adam Smith, who reportedly at a party had an altercation with another guy, putting him in a headlock and calling him “faggot.” It will be interesting to see how he gets along with the others, as two of the male models, Will Jardel and Romeo Tostado, are gay.

The winner of cycle 21 will receive a modeling contract with Next Model Management, $100,000 national ad campaign with GUESS and a fashion feature in Nylon Magazine.
