When your friends and family are feeling down and out make them some “get well soon” baked goods for their recovery. Granted, they may not want to gobble down baked goods the first day or two of their illness, but once they start to recover your baked goodies will let them know you care.

Honey and cinnamon have been proven to be great for your health, not to mention great when ill. Add in oatmeal and put them in cookie and you get the ultimate get well soon soother. Many people drink tea daily but when you’ve come with the flu, tea can be an essential to feeling better. Just like honey and cinnamon, tea has many benefits.

Chai infused shortbread makes a great snack for somebody recovering from an illness. It’s not too robust in flavor but has the comforting aspect of a cup of tea.
