Fans attending Saturday’s football game against Tulane are encouraged to arrive early to avoid lines because of stricter security measures in place at the Carrier Dome.
All guests Saturday will be screened using a metal-detection wand. Small bags and purses will be searched. Oversized purses and backpacks are not permitted in the building.
Syracuse is looking to level out their record at 2-2 against a young, inconsistent, yet potentially dangerous team. The Orange also has their first ever ACC game staring them in the face in one week with the potent and in the National Championship picture Clemson Tigers.
That said, Tulane has a dangerous QB of their own in Nick Montana, young stallions making their mark all over the field on defense and offense and are hungry for a signature win. This is also the teams last season in Conference USA as they head to the old Big East grouping (I will not delve into that conferences mess right now) next season and getting a win against a former member of that conference would be big.
Gates open at 11a.m. for the 12:30 p.m. kickoff.
Season and single-game tickets can be purchased online, in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B), or by calling 1-888-DOMETIX.
