- Calvert Hall boasts over 18,000 alums, including graduates with successful careers in business, religious life, law, medicine, military, education, athletics, entertainment and technology.
- 4000 people attended the Calvert Hall vs Gilman varsity football game under temporary lights at Paul Angelo Russo Stadium in the fall of 2010. As a result, permanent lights were installed at Russo Stadium and Carlo Crispino Stadium during the summer of 2011 to be able to host night time athletic events at The Hall.
- In May 2011, 227 Calvert Hall students took 405 AP Exams – both school records! 79% of the scores were college credit qualifying, which tops last year’s national average of 59%. Calvert Hall offers AP Courses in 22 subjects, which are more than any other private school in the Baltimore area.
- 301 seniorsin the Class of 2011 graduated from the Cathedral of Mary our Queen on June 4, 2011. Forty-six (46) of the 2011 graduates have fathers who also graduated from The Hall.
- Calvert Hall students travel from 104 different zip codes across Maryland and Pennsylvania to attend classes in Towson each day.
- Calvert Hall and Loyola will play in the 92nd Annual Turkey Bowl at Towson University on Thanksgiving morning. Normally played at M&T Bank Stadium, the game was moved to Towson due to the Ravens home game vs San Francisco on November 24, 2011.
- 88% of Calvert Hall students are involvedin co-curricular activities including student government, fine arts, drama, band and intramurals.
- 60 studentswere recognized by the Maryland Distinguished Scholars Program in 2010-11.
- The 2011-12 school year marks the 52nd year of teaching at Calvert Hall for Mr. J. George Kropp (Social Studies Department) and Mr. Augustine Miceli (Mathematics Department).
- Calvert Hall’s 16 varsity athletic teams have earned 48 MIAA titles since the league was established in 1995, including 8 straight by water polo (2001-08), five straight by baseball (2005-09) and the first MIAA title in 2010 for football which finished the season ranked #1 in the state.
- Calvert Hall’s state-of-the-art campus lies on 32 acres in Towson and includes six computer networked buildings.
- 13 Christian Brothersare on staff at Calvert Hall, including Br. Floyd Warwick, FSC ’51 (Religion Department), Br. Joseph Kines, FSC ’62 (Finance) and Br. Michael Kramer ’80 (Guidance Department). Calvert Hall’s faculty also includes 65 teachers with advanced degrees including Dr. Andrew Moore (McMullen Scholars Program) and Dr. Edward Patro (Science Department) and 35 Calvert Hall graduates.
- Calvert Hall has 7 annual service immersion trips to Browning, MT; Virginia Beach, VA; Eastern Shore, VA; Camden, NJ; Baltimore, MD; New Orleans, LA and Philadelphia, PA. These trips are part of the extensive Campus Minsitry program which also sponsors Thanksgiving, Christmas and Mission drives and organizes fundraising projects for local and national organizations (Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Charities, The V Foundation, the Polar Bear Plunge, Miles for Montana, Hurricane Katrina Relief, OrchKids, What’s the Buzz?, etc.). Thirty student peer ministers assist Campus Ministry with these programs and help run an extensive four-year retreat program as well.
