Fall is coming and what better way to celebrate the season by heading out to Honeysuckle Hill Farm in Springfield, TN. The farm will begin its 11th season of their Sharing Traditions and Making Memories program on September 21, 2013.
Every year Honeysuckle Hill Farm creates a unique corn maze which guest navigate through. This year the corn maze will be a tribute to George ‘The Possum’ Jones. There is also a smaller corn maze for the kids to navigate through. Honeysuckle Hill Farm’s fall activities include a petting zoo, children rides, a tractor ride to a pumpkin patch for each guest to pick out a pumpkin to take home with them. While at the farm, guests can purchase a ride on the zipline that flies over the corn maze for a bird’s eye view.
When October comes, be sure to visit Honeysuckle Hill Farm for the haunted attractions. Every year the farm will turn itself into Scream Creek for those that enjoy the scare on Friday and Saturday nights. Scream Creek is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Scream Creek will open October 4, 2013. Guest can purchase admission to the attractions for $15.95 or a combo ticket for $20.95. When purchasing the combo ticket guest can enjoy the new attraction to the farm this year, ‘House of Terror’. There are activities for the children at night as well. During the day, the House of Terror is the House of Fun and at night there is the new attraction Nights of Lights. Nights of Lights will feature a tractor ride towards the pumpkin patch that will include lights synchronized to Halloween music.
General Admission to Honeysuckle Hill Farm will cost $10.95 plus tax per person. Many of the activities on the farm do have additional costs to guests. Children aged 2 and under are free. The farm is open Tuesday through Fridays 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM and reopens on Fridays from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM; Saturdays 10:00 AM until 11:00 PM and Sundays 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
