Get tickets now for "Me Too, I am Catherine Deneuve"

The English translation of the French play "Moi aussi, je m'appelle Catherine Deneuve" will open at the Trap Door Theater in Chicago on Thursday, October 14.

Written by Pierre Notte and translated by David Bradby, this production, called "a grotesquely witty family drama about the potent relationship between self-definition and self-determination" will be directed by Parisian guest director Valéry Warnotte.

Playwright Pierre Notte is also a director, journalist, novelist, poet and arts consultant.  His play has been staged in Tokyo, Rome and Sofia and won for its author the nomination of Best Playwright, the 2006 Theater prize from the Fondation Diane et Lucien Barrière, and the Molière award for Best Private Theater production in 2006.

Performances are October 14 through November 20 at the Trap Door Theater located at 1655 W. Cortland in Bucktown.  For more information, visit http://trapdoortheatre.com
