Cooler air may not have reached the Houston area yet but the fall season is near and that means one important thing: Oktoberfest celebrations are just around the corner. One of the largest Oktoberfest events takes place at the largest and oldest craft brewery in the state of Texas and only a few weeks remain until the party gets started. Here is some background information:
Event: Saint Arnold Oktoberfest
Location: Saint Arnold Brewery, 2000 Lyons Ave., Houston
Date and Time: Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
Saint Arnold Brewery’s annual Oktoberfest is a highly anticipated celebration of all things German and this year’s event promises more of the same fun and great memories of previous Oktoberfests. The evening will include a German dinner, all of the regular St. Arnold beers on tap along with a cask of Icon Gold and St. Arnold’s own Oktoberfest beer, and music from Valina Polka and Das Ist Lustig (Friday) and Chris Ryback - The Accordion Cowboy (Saturday). As in the past, there will be a contest to see which man and woman are best dressed for the occasion and all attendees will receive a Saint Arnold Oktoberfest 2013 commemorative mug so they can relive the fun throughout the year.
The cost for the event is $45 per person. Space is VERY limited for the event and it is certain to sell out long before the first polka dance, so make sure to buy your tickets quickly by clicking here for a Friday night celebration or here for a Saturday night celebration. Tickets will not last, so make your reservation today.
