In a chat with reporters before last night's preview of "The Bachelor," Juan Pablo Galavais revealed several interesting facts about himself -- but not if he found love on the new season of ABC's matchmaking series. He says we have to tune in to find that out.
But because Juan Pablo was eliminated from last season's "The Bachelorette" before he got a one-on-one date with Desiree Hartsock, he is still somewhat of a mystery to viewers, so check out the revealing dish on this heartthrob -- in his very own words!
Why He Is Still Single: You can meet a person – a great girl, and then all of a sudden she doesn't want to get married. So that's one thing. Maybe you meet a girl and she doesn't understand that you have a daughter, so there's another reason. Or maybe you have a girlfriend and she likes your daughter a lot, but inside of her there's something that tells you that she's not going to give me my first son, so there's another issue. So it's not easy.
What He's Looking For in a Woman: I am looking for a woman that is smart, that is honest, that likes sports a little bit maybe, and somebody that knew how to dance because I love dancing. That's one of my biggest turn-ons. I fall in love with that.
The Best and Worst Thing About Dating Him: That's a good question. OK. Best thing: If you like music, you like sports and you like to have good time, you're going to have a blast. I love going to concerts and little showcases. I like to go to soccer games, and baseball games, and basketball games and football games, and go to Europe and watch football,. You know, that's my life.
Worst thing: Sometimes I can be a little stubborn. I like to eat a lot. So if you don't like to eat, you're kind of screwed because I like food a lot. I like to watch sports on the weekends, and there's people who love weekends to go out. I just want to lie in bed and watch sports and relax. And what else? I can be a little sarcastic. There's people who don't like that. I like to joke around a lot and there's people who don't like that. So those are the bad things.
Best Love Advice: The best love advice I received before joining this show was just tell her your feelings. You've just got to let yourself see how you feel and try to listen as much as you can and understand people. You have to put yourself in the other person's shoes, too.
His Biggest Vice: Food, it's just food. Doritos with salsa. I don't smoke. I don't drink. I can drink one beer with lime, salt on top, entire lime. And I can drink scotch [but] it takes me like an hour and a half. So I don't drink. I don't smoke. Dance could be [a vice], too.
His Dream Celebrity Date: Heidi Klum. I've though she's beautiful since I was little. Her face is just perfect.
"The Bachelor" begins airing episodes on its regularly scheduled night on Monday, January 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
