Halloween is almost here and celebrities always manage to do it right. Whether they’re throwing the coolest of parties or sporting elaborate costumes, they really get into the Halloween spirit. And the fun isn’t just left to the kiddos!
In an exclusive interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop, celeb moms including as Giuliana Rancic, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Heidi Klum, Tori Spelling, Lisa Ling and Gilles Marini dish on their family Halloween traditions, parties and costumes. Here’s a sneak peak at what some of our favorite Hollywood A-listers have to say:
Heidi Klum‘s big brood is putting creepies in every corner. Model mom Heidi Klum says she loves to celebrate the spooky season with her four kids - Leni, 9, Henry, 8, Johan, 6 1/2, and Lou, 4.“We go all out decorating our house,” she adds. “There are spider webs and skeletons and pumpkins in every corner. They have picked out their costumes already but we like to keep them secret.” “I think I have passed on my love for Halloween to my kids,” the Project Runway host tells Celebrity Baby Scoop.
Sons of Anarchy actor and father-of-one Kenny Johnson will have a spook-tacular Halloween this year. “We usually go to Park La Brea, because it’s very kid-friendly,” the Dexter star tells Celebrity Baby Scoop. He adds: “They get about two thousand people through there every year because it’s a gated community. We will also look for pumpkins and freaky-looking people [laughs]. My daughter wants to be Belle and I am going to be the Beast.”
Reality star Tori Spelling loves to “DIY everything” with her four kids - Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 1 – during pumpkin season. “We love decorating, so we always go all out,” Tori shares with Celebrity Baby Scoop. “We DIY everything in our family and we make our own costumes every year,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum adds. “We are working on the costumes right now, working on the pumpkins, and decorating the house, and then we will go trick-or-treating.” She continues: “Liam and Stella challenged me this year. They wanted to be zombies, so they are going to be ballerina and Boy Scout zombies. I get to make those costumes and do great zombie make-up, so I’m really excited!”
New mom Lisa Ling has not yet decided on her daughter Jett‘s first Halloween costume. “I don’t know yet,” Lisa tells Celebrity Baby Scoop. “My husband and I were just talking about what we are going to dress Jett up as. Let’s just put it this way – it won’t be anything sexy [laughs]. I live in Santa Monica and trick-or-treating is a big deal in that area. I will definitely take her out around the community and neighborhood.”
New dad Tom Arnold will celebrate his son Jaxson‘s first Halloween this year. “It’s funny, my wife was at baby class last night and they apparently have Halloween,” Tom tells Celebrity Baby Scoop. “She pulled up all these costumes on the Internet and got ecstatic about dressing Jaxson up for Halloween,” he continues. “It is exciting! For many years, we tried to have a baby and would always get sad when trick-or-treaters stopped by our house. We wished we could be out there too! This year is going to be so great. Even though our son is going to be very small and won’t remember it, it will be such a wonderful experience.”
