Get terrified at the 2014 Texas Frightmare Weekend

Things are going to get terrifying in Dallas, TX the weekend of May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The annual Texas Frightmare Weekend brings thousands of fans from all over the world to the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the grounds of the DFW Airport. Each one is looking for their opportunity to meet the several dozen horror celebrities in attendance.

Guests this year are a mix of film, television, and music talents. Movie celebrities include "The Walking Dead's" Scott Wilson and Chandler Riggs. Thomas Dekker from "Terminator: The Sara Connor Chronicles" will also be in attendance. John Kassir, the voice of the Cryptkeeper from "Tales from the Crypt," will be signing autographs and greeting eventgoers as well.

The convention also stands as the perfect venue for a number of movie reunions for classic genre greats like "Terminator," "Dawn of the Dead," "Hellraiser," "Night of the Demons," "Repo! The Genetic Opera," "Aliens," "The Blair Witch Project," and others. The "Terminator" reunion includes actors from all the movies and the TV series. Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn, Kristanna Lokken, Thomas Dekker, Robert Patrick, and others will all be available to meet. Doug Bradley and his Cenobite cohorts from "Hellraiser" will be on hand to welcome everyone.

Musical talent includes original KISS guitarist and Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Ace Frehley. Dee Snider is known as the singer of 1980's metal band Twisted Sister, but also directed and wrote the cult classic "Strangeland." Twiggy Ramirez from Marilyn Manson and A Perfect Circle will also be appearing.

Guests of Honor for 2014's Texas Frightmare Weekend are two legendary figures synonymous with the world of gore. Zombie Godfather George A. Romero returns to give devotees another chance to get up close and personal with the filmmaker. Tobin Bell gives fans of the "Saw" series an opportunity to salute the icon.

There's no shortage of activities to enjoy at Texas Frightmare Weekend. The schedule of events include movie screenings, parties, Scaryoke, a movie trivia contest, and more. The vendor room will be packed full of dealers selling everything from t-shirts and DVDs to jewelry and books.
