Norcross is a small town with a wild history and lots of tales of ghosts, and the Haunted History Walks hosted by historian Sally Toole are a great way to celebrate the Halloween season. If you like to mix your scares with large doses of history, this is the walk for you.
The walks will take place Fridays and Saturdays beginning on the 11th and ending on the 26th of October. The tickets will be available on the patio of 45 South, a coffee house at 45 South Peachtree St. in downtown Norcross. It's a great place to grab a warm drink and a snack before starting your trip into the dark side of Norcross's past.
You may hear tales of bootleggers, train robbers, murderers, and more. Often you may feel as though you were in the Wild West!
Whichever tales your tour guide may choose to tell, they will be interesting and spooky and you are bound to have a good time.
Based on my previous experiences with the tour, it is an easy stroll. Babies in strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome and free. The tour is $10 for adults and $8 for children under 12.
