Get ready to time travel with Anachrocon in Atlanta February 14-16, 2014

Maybe we can't physically travel to the past or rearrange it to suit ourselves, but we can do the next best thing by attending AnachroCon in Atlanta February 14-16 at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center.

AnachroCon is a history and alternate history convention which began in 2009. When you attend, you will see fabulous neo-Victorian and steampunk costumes as well as costumes from many eras of history. You may choose to dress up yourself or just be an appreciative observer! You will have the opportunity to attend workshops in fashion, weaponry and props, etiquette, and more. You can meet Thomas Jefferson or Ben Franklin and other historical reenactments. Attend panels about history, literature and science.

There will also be live music, dances, and more entertainment. Vendors will be on hand with all sorts of goodies for you to buy.

You can find a list of guests at the website and the schedule is to be posted today.

Pre-registration is closed but admission at the event is only $70.00 for the entire weekend or $30 for Friday, $40 for Saturday, and $20 for Sunday. I recommend the weekend price as there is plenty to keep you entertained every day!

I will be covering the convention as press. Come join my husband and I and all our fellow Anachronauts for the times of your life!
