It was love at first sight. My heart was racing, my palms were sweating, and I kept giggling like a giddy school girl. I was hopelessly head over heels. And it WAS over heels.
Let me back up and tell this fairy tale in the light it deserves. Once upon a time, last month, a new boutique opened up in my boyfriend’s office complex. My ‘prince’ , knowing my penchant for gorgeous shoes and seeing such a pair in the window, decided to venture inside and purchase a surprise for me. Now these were no ordinary shoes made by a cobbler’s elves, mind you, but more the vision that is conjured up when you think of Dorothy’s ruby shoes or Cinderella’s magic glass slippers. Bronze gold, with a 5 inch heel and a front platform that made me feel like I could conquer the world…these shoes were a force to be reckoned with.
Anyone that knows me, knows my obsession for shoes. Maybe my 5’3” stature longs for something nature didn’t give me, but the higher the heel, the better! Whatever the reason, I just knew I had to make the pilgrimage to the mecca that housed such perfection. What I found was the holy-land of fashion at Lipp Boutique.
