While the Coachella Music Festival has wrapped up until next year, there are still a few festivals left this summer. From Bonnaroo to Lollapalooza, and every festival in between, there will be many opportunities to enjoy a plethora of bands in an outdoor setting. If you're heading to one of these festivals, you should be ready. Here are some tips for putting together the perfect festival wardrobe.

Mind the weather: At a summer music festival, you can be sure of one of two things. 1. It's going to be hot and sticky. 2. It's going to be dreary. Make sure you check the weather forecast at your destination about a week prior so you can plan accordingly. It's easier to have fun when you have the proper gear, so be prepared. Check to see if you need to pack rain boots and a hat, a sweatshirt for chilly nights or tons of sunblock.

Don't get burned: Along with plenty of sunblock, reduce your chances of getting burned with a wide brimmed hat and some loose clothing. Floppy hats that are lightweight and lightly colored will help keep the sun out of your eyes, while keeping you looking chic. A long-sleeved peasant blouse will add an extra layer of sun protection without making you hot.

Flat shoes are a must: If you're going to be on your feet all day, make your feet a little happier by wearing comfy shoes. Choose a pair of supportive shoes, and add some insoles to make them extra cushy. This way, you can dance all day into the night and be ready for day two. Choosing boots or sneakers will also keep your pedi protected from the mud.

Festivals are fun, and if you're dressed for them, you can enjoy yourself more than you would if you were wet, dirty or sunburned. Choose your festival gear wisely and dance the weekend away.
