Get ready for the 2012 Olympics with Brazilian model Adriana Lima's Bikini-body tips!

So America lost the bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games but that doesn't mean that we can't look like the models of the South American homeland.

Thanks to the undying inspiration of Brazilian hotties that grace the pages of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition and the international runways, we can see why Chicago was ousted in the bid for the Games.

Never fear, my dears. From the archives of international celebrity supermodel, bikini model and soon-to-be-mom Adriana Lima gives you the dish on how she revs up for swimsuit season - Which, for her, is all year long.

Bikini Model Bikini-Body Tip# 1: Don't focus on what you can't have. Adriana has learned she can't be deprived. In turn, the 28-year-old model turned to the Portion Control Method to keep food moderation in check. The girl confesses to eating whatever she wants, but in small amounts.

Bikini Model Bikini-Body Tip# 2:  Workout in ways that are best for your body. When "Lima Bean" was a supermodel, she was quick to keep up with intense cardio and was a boxing hobbyist taking punches at lean abs and a sleek figure. Since Adriana found out she was pregnant earlier this year, she's had to have a more open mind to fitness regimes. In an interview with People magazine, the Brazilian beauty said, "I'm doing yoga now. I didn't used to take it seriously, but now I realize it's really good way to get some exercise – and it's fun."

Bikini Model Bikini-Body Tip# 3:  Overcome objections to not exercise. When Adriana was pounding the runway, she turned to Capoeira, a form of Brazilian martial art, as the workout of choice. Upon having a bun in the oven, Adriana moved onto more gentle workout options. Even when she traveled with Victoria's Secret she didn't let an absence of a gym hold her down. "I do my best," says Lima. "If I’m traveling I try to run and I do a 30 minute run on the treadmill, and sometimes I take boxing classes, I love to jump rope!"

Jumping rope is an exercise form that can travel, get the heart rate up and work the whole body.

Bikini Model Bikini-Body Tip# 4:  Ifs, ands and BUTTS!  This Brazilian model has a focused part she works out every time and that's her rear asset - The Brazillian butt. The star says, "When I’m in New York I work out with my personal trainer," she says. "He’s Brazilian and he really concentrates on the butt - every Brazilian loves the butt."

And every American girl probably wouldn't mind having yours.
