Get ready for another CSI series

Network executives are working on conceiving another ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ spin-off. If you can remember, both 'CSI: Miami' and 'CSI: NY' were cancelled in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Although the original 'CSI' series has seen a revolving door of leading cast members, it is the only show of the crime drama franchise remaining.

The main character of this new 'CSI' series is named Avery Ryan, a special agent in charge at the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI in Quantico, VA. Agent Ryan’s primary task is to solve high-octane crimes that start in the mind, live on-line and play out into the real world.

The idea was inspired by producer Mary Aiken’s previous work as a cyber-psychologist. Casting has not been completed. CBS also has plans to spice up 'NCIS' with a spin-off starring Scott Bakula and the locale being New Orleans.

Do you plan to watch? Is it enough already or you just can’t get enough of forensic science TV?
