Gaming and comics go hand in hand, and some very big things have come from the marriage of the two. There are some big things coming around the corner, and they'll be at the "Amazing Arizona Comic Con 2014". The convention takes place from January 24 through 26, with a ridiculous line up in store.

First, there's the guest list. Do you like 'The Walking Dead'? (Of course you do.) Both Robert Kirkman, the creator and writer of TWD, and Danai Gurira, who plays "Michonne" on the television series, will be in attendance. Also, Mat Nastos, a writer and artist for the famed "Phineas & Ferb" show on the Disney Channel will be there. Another added treat are David Rodriguez and Jeffrey Bellio, the creators of 'Skylanders', who will also grace the floor with their presence. (Seriously, just take a look at the guest list. It's pretty pumped up.)

If you have kids, don't worry. This is a kid friendly convention, and even features a "Kid's Day" on Sunday of the event. There will be a gaming center, kid's costume parade, cartoons, and free sketches from a couple of popular cartoon series. If you have spawnlings, be sure to bring them out for a fantastic day of fun!

But why should the kids be the only ones to dress up and have fun? Well, this is a Comic Con! Cosplay is not only allowed, but encouraged. (Just make sure you adhere to the rules.) There will also be a "Zombie Pageant" which is sure to raise the dead, along with the appearance of famed cosplayer Jessica Nigri.

And check out this list of exhibitors! Get all your geeking done in one place! From Animebooks.com to Wolfpack Comics, Alan Sparrow to Wil Hines, there's so much to do and see that your mind will metaphorically be blown by the variance.

You could wait to get your tickets at the event, or you could do the smart thing and register now. There are also several VIP packages that you can take advantage of.

So don't forget to mark your calendars! January 24 through 26 should be reserved for the "Amazing Arizona Comic Con" at the Phoenix Convention Center.
