Fri Nov 13 -- Lexington -- Morris Book Shop hosts the worldwide release of The Hand-Printed Art of Cricket Press, by Brian and Sara Turner. In addition to this brand-new book, we'll have full-size Cricket Press posters for sale, as well as the same gorgeous cards and prints we always carry from Lexington's graphic greats, CRICKET PRESS!
Sat Nov 14 -- Campton -- Appalachian Heritage Alliance Writer's Workshop -- “Writing it Right," funded in part by the Kentucky Foundation for Women, will be lead by Kentucky Author, Leatha Kendrick, will take place at the Wolfe County Adult Education Building -- The Learning Café. 10:00-4:00pm. Lunch is included. The cost is $50.
Sat Nov 14 -- Mt Sterling -- Writing Eastern Kentucky Conference at the Gateway Regional Center for the Arts, 101 E. Main St. 9:00am-3:00pm. Featuring Crystal Wilkinson, Chris Holbrook, Rebecca Howell, George Eklund, and 2009 Chaffin Award Winner Mark Powell. The conference concludes with a book signing and sale.

Tue Nov 17 – Owensboro – Third Tuesday Writers Coffeehouse presents poet and musician Brett Ralph and members of his Hopkinsville writers group. There also will be Open Mic for local writers of comedy, song, poetry and prose. 7:00 ‘til 9:30 in Woodward’s at the RiverPark Center on Daviess Street just off Second. Free.
