In addition to the detoxing effects, rebounding has a plethora of other benefits. It offers an outstanding aerobic workout. Research has shown that just twenty minutes of rebounding gives a cardiovascular workout that is equivalent to one hour of running. It has also been shown to increase agility for better balance. It also has been shown to increase endorphin levels for refinement of the nervous system.
Rebounding is a workout that almost anyone can do. The only piece of equipment needed for this great workout is a mini-trampoline. Rebounders modified with balance bars are even available for those who need assistance keeping their balance.
It is suggested to bounce on a rebounder for 20-30 minutes everyday. However, some people have claimed they experienced benefits from doing it for just 10 minutes everyday. If you decide to add rebounding or any other form of exercise to your daily workout routine, consult with your physician beforehand.
