As its number of creative, vegetarian cooking classes increases, The Chopping Block cooking store has become a terrific place to find unique vegetarian recipe ideas from expert chefs. This coming Tuesday, March 30, The Chopping Block in Lincoln Square (4747 N. Lincoln Ave.) will be hosting a class entitled “Meatless in Seattle,” which promises to introduce bored vegetarians to bold new meat-free meals. This class will teach you how to cook up eggplant, red pepper and tofu coconut curry with steamed basmati rice; mushroom, black bean and bulgur cheeseburgers with zucchini fries; and winter vegetable cobbler with homemade biscuits. Even though you will not actually be in Seattle, eating meatless has never been so much fun.
